The Beacon of Groveton

The apartments are decent although the walls are a little thin. Overall, I’m satisfied with my living space. My only issue is with this particular management team in place. Concerns are not taken seriously or addressed properly by management…well at least my concerns aren’t. I’ve been here for 4 years now and this is the only management team I have gripes about. The Beacon of Groveton appears to go through several management changes every year or so and I am hoping that this team will “rotate” out soon.

My family member just most recently moved here. It's a bit confusing with the address if you are trying to take a ride share, however the leasing office is located on the side by the parking garage not directly off of the street. It seems to be very secure as far as getting in and out with your key fob. Very clean. Some of the hallway are dusty, and I probably need a just cleaning. I did notice that some of the doors on the apartments were shipping as far as the paint. Maybe they will get around to going through and doing a Fresh coat of paint over the doorways. Otherwise the unit are spacious and nice. No linen closet inside a two-bedroom. I thought that was kind of odd but other than that they seem to be pretty decent. There are mostly black appliances no updated stainless steel appliances which was kind of a negative. The community as a whole seems to be pretty Pleasant and quiet although you may live next door to someone who has a dog and it just barks all night long that's a bit annoying we heard a barking dog. But it is definitely a clean, environment for renting and leasing purposes.

The Beacon of Groveton is a terrible place to live at. Management is terrible. Stephanie Cook is one of the worst GMs this building has had. Any issues that need serious attention need to just be brought up to headquarters. You get no proactive support from the front office. Ghetto staff, section 8 management. Absolutely hated the experience I had there. It got to the point where if you try to hold them accountable via email, they get their lawyers involved and ask you to direct all questions to their attorneys. My wife and I hated living here. Even our dog could tell there was stress in the household. Our two-bedroom apartment constantly had noise from neighbors and the management team refused to address these issues. Bozzuto leadership is garbage, and it shows by the level of poor management that is given by their on the ground leadership team at the Beacon of Groveton. So many better options elsewhere in the area. This apartment building is in serious decline and Stephanie Cook has played a big part in that. So glad our lease is about to expire at the end of the summer.

- units are nice for the most part. Some can be a bit of a walk to get to due to the building design. - parking garage was nice, do have some issues here with cars getting messed with or the gate getting broken down to gain access to the garage by outsiders up to no good. - management for the most part was nice and helpful when I was here . Non-management staff were hit or miss, most of them were rude and lazy. - location is nice for things around these units for shopping and restaurants. - inside and office was always clean and organized. - never had issues with packages getting stolen or messed with. - never had issues with neighbors, everyone was respectful and nice. - didn't have to fight for elevator access much, everyone was nice other than the few random entitled humans that think they are someone special. " Have them everywhere you go lol" - overall I honestly enjoyed my stay here other than the walk to my unit was so long. - I would have stayed here for my 3rd year if the prices didn't jump up so much.

I went to multiple apartments buildings to find a home. The guided tour with Janiah really was great! We had loads to questions and she was able to answer all of them. The office leasing staff Janiah, Mikala, Bryan, and The Maintenance crew have all been outstanding. There was a issue but the leasing office went above and beyond to resolve it for me. I got a great view, quiet here like 95% of the time, neighbors are friendly and courteous. The amenities are beautiful. There is a lot of dog owners not picking up their dog’s waste but no worse than the townhomes where I rented before. There are at three dog potty stations handy with waste bags so no excuse. Not the Beacons buildings fault. Lovely place to live.
